This motion has not been discussed in the Assembly and commits only those who have signed it.
The global economic crisis has had an impact on the minds
of people in Europe, paving the way to increasing radicalisation.
Leaders of non-parliamentary parties of the extreme left and extreme
right are taking every opportunity offered by the harsh economic
situation to gain more popularity.
Therefore, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe
should present a report on the threats and dangers to the general
public of radicalisation in Europe.
