1. In the context of its consideration of
the question raised by the Honourable Parliamentarian, the Committee
of Ministers took note of the information provided by the French
delegation that the draft bill which Mr Volontè refers to was currently
under discussion in Parliament and that it contained no reference
to a new teaching about “gender theory”.
2. Furthermore, the French delegation recalled that in France
teaching and education are provided in accordance with the principles
of the European Convention on Human Rights and the various relevant international
treaties signed by France and are provided jointly with the family.
3. In light of these indications, the Committee of Ministers
does not consider it appropriate to reaffirm the points mentioned
by the Honourable Parliamentarian or to take any action.
