The Assembly,
Bearing in mind its Recommendation No. 112 of 8th September 1949, concerning the creation of a European passport;
Taking into consideration the effect given to this Recommendation by the Committee of Ministers in sending it for study to the Governments ;
Recommends the Committee of Ministers to request Governments to complete their examination of the matter as quickly as possible;
Asks the Committee of Ministers to recommend Governments, pending the establishment of a European passport, to abolish visas, where they are still necessary, in the case of young people under 25 who are nationals of Member States.
