Explanatory note

The Assembly has asked that a report be prepared on 'Role and mission of the Parliamentary Assembly: main challenges for the future'. The relations with the Council of Europe, the Committee of Ministers, and the other organs and bodies of the Organisation, fall within the scope of that report.
