In the draft resolution, after paragraph 19.5, insert the following paragraph:

"revise the electoral regulations with a view to ensuring that different ethnic communities are represented fairly in Parliament"

Explanatory note

The current electoral regulations do not address the difficulties faced by different ethnic communities whose high population does not correspond to a proportionate number of seats in the Parliament, as members of those communities are scattered around the country.
