In the draft resolution, paragraph 8.1, replace the words: “Each national delegation shall include members of the under-represented sex [footnote 1] to ensure at least the following gender representation” with the following words:

"Each national delegation must include both women and men among its representatives. Each national delegation shall include members of the under-represented sex [footnote 1] at least in the same percentage as in its parliament or, if this is more favourable to the representation of the under-represented sex, ensure gender representation as follows:”
