1.1 References and
transmissions to committees
The Bureau considered and approved the following references:
- Doc. 15413, Motion for a resolution, The
need to ensure free access to historical documents: transmission
to the Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights for information;
- Follow-up to the current affairs debate - Recent challenges to security in Europe: what
role for the Council of Europe?: reference to the Committee
on political affairs and democracy for
report.
1.2 Request for an
extension of reference
The Bureau considered and approved the request to extend a
reference:
- Doc. 14382, Motion for a resolution, The
continuing need to restore human rights and the rule of law in the
North Caucasus region (Reference 4333 of 13 October 2017):
extension until 30 June 2022.
1.3 Committee on
Rules of Procedure, Immunities and Institutional Affairs
The Bureau:
- on the basis
of a proposal by the Turkish delegation, appointed Mr Ahmet Yıldız
(NR) as a member;
- on the basis of a proposal by the EPP/CD Group, appointed
Mr Anastasios Chatzivasileiou (Greece) as a member.
1.4 Monitoring Committee
The Bureau, on the basis of a proposal by the Group SOC, appointed
Mr Tony Lloyd (United Kingdom) as a member.
