1 Introduction

The Committee on the Election of Judges to the European Court of Human Rights assessed the lists of the candidates to the Court in respect of Iceland and Denmark.Note

2 Conclusions of the Committee on the lists of candidates submitted by Iceland and Denmark

2.1 Iceland

The committee interviewed all the candidates on 13 January 2023.

The committee unanimously recommends to the Assembly Ms Oddný Mjöll Arnardottir as the most qualified candidate.

2.2 Denmark

The committee interviewed all the candidates on 13 January 2023.

The committee recommends to the Assembly two equally qualified candidates, Ms Anne Louise Haahr Bormann and Mr Jon Esben Hvam.
