In draft resolution, paragraph 8, third sentence, after the words "in this context", insert the following words:

"the Assembly calls on Armenia and Azerbaijan to cooperate with a view to ensuring safe and transparent movement across their mutual border, and"

Explanatory note

Further interaction and cooperation is needed to address all the issues stemming from the use of the Lachin road and operation of the border crossing point. Therefore, it is proposed to include a call to both Armenia and Azerbaijan to take steps to that end.
