In the draft resolution, paragraph 11.8, delete the following words:

"detained because of reporting on protests"

Explanatory note

This is an unfounded allegation and a speculative comment. Journalists were not detained for covering the protests; there is a reasonable justification for the detentions, as evidenced by the fact that only a small number of journalists out of hundreds were detained and most of those detained were released.
