The Assembly, having taken note of the Report by the Special Committee on Agriculture,
Appoints the following persons to represent it as observers at the Conference on the European Organisation on Agricultural Markets : MM. Charpentier, Crosbie, Federspiel and a Substitute, M. Gerns.
In its Recommendation 24 of 30th May, 1952, the Consultative Assembly expressed a desire to be associated with the work of the European Conference on Agriculture and accordingly requested that observers from the Special Committee on Agriculture be allowed to attend the Conference.
At its meeting on 23rd September the Special Committee on Agriculture noted with satisfaction the action taken on this Recommendation. As is stated in the Supplementary Report of the Committee of Ministers (Doc. 42), the Committee of Ministers has recommended that Member Governments of the Council of Europe which are taking part in the preparatory Conference on the European Organisation of Agricultural Markets should support the request of the Consultative Assembly when it comes before the Conference.
