The Assembly,
Having regard to the importance of the local problems arising out of the activities of the European Coal and Steel Community;
Considering that the Common Market Treaty and the Euratom Treaty will have considerable repercussions upon municipal and regional affairs in Europe,
Decides to seek ways and means of enabling local authorities to undertake the new tasks devolving upon them as a result of the implementation of the Common Market Treaty and the Euratom Treaty.
