The parliamentarians encouraged and supported the Commissioner so that he continues to expand his activities in areas in which he can clearly make a highly beneficial contribution. The Commissioner must also continue to look for potential areas of interaction with other Council of Europe bodies out of a constant concern to avoid duplicating similar work carried out by other sectors of the Organisation, they said.
