The Council of Europe Flag of honour will be awarded to the Polish municipality of Bielsko-Biała (Silesia) on Saturday 21 June during its twin-town festival.
The former Italian Senator and honorary Member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Renzo Gubert, will present this distinction to the European committed town of Bielsko-Biała, which developed more than ten twinnings, in particular with Besançon in France and Szolnok in Hungary, which already won this distinction several years ago.
