28/01/2016 Session
"We are witnessing an escalation of attacks on freedoms. It is therefore more necessary than ever to fight against extremism and radicalisation that lead to terrorism ", today said Lorella Stefanelli and Nicola Renzi, the Captains Regent of San Marino, addressing the Assembly.
"We want to issue a warning. We are facing a real emergency, an unprecedented emergency affecting all countries, great and small, and that requires a united response and concerted action. We must use the weapons that are available to us: the force of law, education and people’s cultures. These are the only, the unique and legitimate weapons at the disposal of those countries who identify themselves with the values of the Council of Europe,” they stressed.
