PACE has set up a special committee to contribute to the preparation of a Fourth Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Council of Europe.
The new ad hoc committee brings together the Assembly’s President and the heads of its political groups and committees, the rapporteur of a recent PACE report on the summit, as well as the heads of the two delegations having the current and immediate next Presidency, Ireland and Iceland.
The committee will feed ideas and proposals in to the high-level group which is preparing the summit, and will ensure the Assembly’s representation at it.
