The Assembly,

Considering that the production and distribution of fodder cereals play an important part in the agricultural economy and trade of member countries,

Recommends that the Committee of Ministers study this matter in consultation with the Ministerial Committee on Agriculture and Food with a view to ascertaining to what extent Member States would be prepared

a to promote the production of cereal crops for fodder;

b to standardise and stabilise the prices of these cereals so that all countries may compete equally on the European market in improved agricultural products.
