The Assembly,
Having taken note of the memorandum which appears in the Appendix to Doc. 1090, addressed to the President of the Assembly on 16th June 1959, concerning the position of refugee doctors and dental surgeons who have qualified at universities in member countries of the Council of Europe;
Wishing to make a new contribution to World Refugee Year by granting facilities to these young refugees in the exercise of their profession,
Requests the Committee on Refugees and Overpopulation to submit to it a report on this question, together with suggestions for improving the legal and moral position of intellectuals in exile.
