The Assembly,
1. Having regard to Recommendation 910 (1981), adopted on the basis of a report by the Committee on Regional Planning and Local Authorities (Doc. 4658) and of an opinion thereon from the Committee on Science and Technology (Doc. 4663),
2. Instructs these two committees to study and report on :
2.1 the integration of environment policy with all other aspects of sectoral policy-making by governments ;
2.2 the problems and possibilities of wider adoption of those environment directives of the European Communities which contain legally enforceable standards and methods of pollution control and prevention ;
2.3 how to proceed, beyond pollution control, to the identification and adoption of systems of clean technology for significant parts of industry.
