The Assembly,
1. Recalling its motion for a recommendation on a common European strategy on AIDS diseases, and its Recommendation 1080 (1988) on a co-ordinated European health policy to prevent the spread of AIDS in prisons ;
2. Considering that the Assembly should turn its attention not only to the social aspects of the disease but also more generally to its legal aspects and its implications for human rights,
3. Instructs its Legal Affairs Committee to examine the legal aspects and human rights implications of AIDS diseases.
