The Assembly,
1. Having regard to its Resolution 345 on the consequences of the wreck of the Torrey Canyon,
2. Recommends to the Committee of Ministers that the earliest possible approach be made on behalf of all the member countries as a body to the Governments and specialised international organisations, in particular the Intergovernmental Maritime Consultative Organisation (IMCO), with a view to the implementation of the steps proposed in that Resolution.
