The Assembly,

1. Having regard to Recommendation 635 (1971), on development co-operation, and to Resolution 478 (1971), on the 4th Seminar on International Voluntary Service held from 2-6 November 1970 in Strasbourg, and also to the report of its Committee on Social and Health Questions on the proceedings and conclusions of this Seminar (Doc. 2909),

2. Recommends that the Committee of Ministers :

a support the organisation of a 5th Seminar on International Voluntary Service to be convened under the auspices of the Consultative Assembly in the course of 1972 ;

b authorise the Secretary General to supply all administrative assistance and material facilities, and allocate if necessary the appropriations required for this purpose in the 1972 Budget.
