In the draft resolution, paragraph 7, in the first sentence, after the words "to counter this trend", insert the following words:

"in a transparent manner by deleting illegal information,"

Explanatory note

Concrete guarantees are needed against the use of political censorship

by social networks under the pretext of content moderation. As for deleting illegal information, there is a practice in many countries, including Russia, when Internet intermediaries are legally obliged to delete illegal publications.
