Explanatory note

Turkish Parliament has been functioning with all parliamentary privileges granted to MPs, elected by fair and competitive elections.

The laws apply and the right to a fair trial is guaranteed to all MPs, and judicial proceedings are conducted in line with principles of the rule of law and international obligations.
