1. The Committee of Ministers thanks the
Honourable Member for her question and informs her that, on 4 June
2025, it adopted a set of follow-up decisions to its 134th Session
(Luxembourg, 13-14 May 2025), including on the Council of Europe
and the environment.
2. One of these decisions instructed the GR-H to move forward
as quickly as possible with the consideration of a possible binding
or non-binding instrument in the field of human rights and the protection
of the environment.
3. The GR-H will begin the examination of this question at one
of its forthcoming meetings.
