"The partners of LGBTI veterans with disabilities should be considered as ‘families and informal caregivers’ of veterans and be given access to the support programmes, psychological care, training and respite services available".
The fact that there is no legislation expressly recognising same-sex couples in Ukraine should not lead to the discrimination of LGBTI veterans with disabilities as regards access to rights and services by them and their families, including their partners.
