The Assembly,
Recalling its Recommendation 31 (1950) that measures should bo taken in the sphere of housing to expedite the building of dwelling-houses in Member States,
Aware of the pressing nature of this problem and the deplorable consequences to which it gives rise,
Considering that urgent measures are essential if the housing shortage is to be overcome,
Decides to include in its Agenda the following question :
"Measures to be taken to overcome the housing shortage ",
and instructs its Committee on Social Questions to examine this question and to report thereon to the Assembly.
