Considering t h a t d e v e l o p m e n t s in nuclear r e s e a r c h a n d a u t o m a t i o n have m a d e even more n e c e s s a r y scientific and t e c h n i c a l educat i o n in E u r o p e;
Considering t h a t there is a danger t h a t Europe may find itself o u t s t r i p p e d in t h i s field by t h e U n i t e d S t a t e s of America and Soviet Russia;
Russia; Considering t h a t t h e f u t u r e of Europe is linked with the development of scientific a n d t e c h n i c a l e d u c a t i o n;
Considering t h a t t h e t a s k of making good t h e e x i s t i n g deficiencies is one w h i c h calls for t h e c o - o p e r a t i o n of t h e W e s t e r n E u r o p e an c o u n t r i e s ,
Considering t h a t t h e t a s k of making good t h e e x i s t i n g deficiencies is one w h i c h calls for t h e c o - o p e r a t i o n of t h e W e s t e r n E u r o p e an c o u n t r i e s , Recommends to the Committee of Ministers to t a k e t h e necessary measures to b r i n g a b o u t close c o - o p e r a t i o n b e t w e e n Member S t a t e s , in p a r t i c u l a r :
b y exchanging information, as is r e c o m m e n d e d b y 0 . E. E. C.;
b y making available to selected s t u d e n t s and scientists t h e facilities available for scientific research and e d u c a t i o n in each o t h e r ' s c o u n t r i e s;
b y a t t a c h i n g increased i m p o r t a n ce i n t h e i r own countries t o t h e d e v e l o p m e n t of e d u c a t i o n a l facilities in t h i s field
