The Assembly,. having been acquainted with the message of the Committee of Ministers :
1.Expresses its complete approval of the decision taken by U. N. 0. to oppose aggression in Korea by a united front of the democracies.
2.Joins with 0. N. U. in appreciation of the soldiers of U. N. 0. and in particular the American troops, who, in the most difficult circumstances, are carrying on a heroic struggle for the liberty of all the peoples.
3. Declares that the responsibility thus assumed by the Assembly requires to be followed up by the immediate creation, among the free peoples of Europe, of an effective European Authority having at its disposal a single European Army subject to European democratic control, cooperating with the United State and Canada.
