The Assembly,
Confirming the guiding principles for a common European policy towards the East which it has reiterated on several occasions and which form the basis of M. Benvenuti's report;
Noting that for various reasons it would be inadvisable at the present time to reach any special decisions,
Instructs the Committee on General Affairs, during the month preceding the opening of the Second Part of the Eighth Ordinary Session, to present a draft Resolution setting forth a common European policy towards the East.
