The Assembly,

1. Having regard to Recommendation 591 (1970) on the preservation and rehabilitation of Venice and Resolution 432 (1970) on the Operation "Save Venice";

2. Aware that the problem of Venice will require sustained attention and care for years to come,

3. Instructs its Committee on Culture and Education:

a to see to it that the aforesaid texts are put into effect;

b to report back in due course on the progress made on the question of Venice and to propose such new measures as the committee may deem necessary.
