Thesaurus
1. The Assembly considers that the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (Brazil, June 1992) will have considerable consequences for Europe and the Council of Europe, as well as important repercussions on the North-South dialogue.
2. This is why, with reference to its Resolution 983 (1992), the Assembly decides to review the conclusions of the conference and its implications for the European region on the basis of a new report on the outcome of the conference, and instructs its Committee on the Environment, Regional Planning and Local Authorities to prepare such a report for its plenary session in January or May 1993.
