1. The Assembly, referring to its Recommendation 1190 (1992), decides to play an active part in assisting central and east European countries to review their sports policies and provisions.
2. To this effect the Committee on Culture and Education (Sub-committee on Youth and Sport) is asked to liaise with the Committee for the Development of Sport (CDDS) and to hold consultative meetings on sports legislation with the responsible parliamentary committees in central and eastern Europe.
