The Assembly,

1. Having regard to its Resolution 568 (1974) on the 5th Seminar on International Voluntary Service held from 5 to 9 November 1973 at Strasbourg, and also to the report of its Committee on Social and Health Questions on the proceedings and resolutions of this seminar (Doc. 3416),

2. Recommends that the Committee of Ministers :

transmit the resolutions adopted by the 5th Seminar on International Voluntary Service and the report on its proceedings to the governments of the Council of Europe member states inviting them to follow up the proposals formulated in these texts ;

request the European Committee on Nature Conservation for an opinion on Resolution No. 7, on pilot projects in the field of environmental improvement with the participation of European and non- European volunteers ;

authorise the Secretary General to supply all administrative assistance and material facilities, and allocate any additional appropriations that may be required for the organisation of a 6th Seminar on International Voluntary Service to be convened under the auspices of the Consultative Assembly, at the appropriate moment.
