In the draft resolution, before paragraph 10.1, insert the following paragraph:

"fully implement the European Union brokered ceasefire agreement, in particular to withdraw all Russian troops to pre-war positions;"

Explanatory note

The EU brokered ceasefire agreement remains crucial in ensuring the de-occupation of Georgian territories, creating conditions for the return of internally displaced persons and refugees and for the resolution of the conflict in general. Russia constantly refuses to abide by the provisions of the agreement. The Assembly should once again reiterate the necessity of implementing the ceasefire agreeement.
