1. At its first meeting on 26th November, 1951, the Committee reserved its approval of the appointment of Mr. Donald Wade as United Kingdom Substitute, since at that date his credentials had not yet been received. The permanent Representative of the United Kingdom to the Council of Europe, acting on behalf of the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs of the United Kingdom duly transmitted these credentials on 29th November, 1951.
The Committee therefore proposes that the Assembly approve the appointment of Mr. Donald Wade as Substitute.
2. The Committee further took note of a communication from the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the effect that Mr. Argyropoulos had been appointed Substitutes in place of M. Allamanis, former Greek Substitute.
It proposes that the Assembly likewise approve this appointment.
Provided that the Assembly confirms the proposals of its Credentials Committee, the list of Substitutes should be amended as follows :
Delete the name of :
M. Allamanis (Greece).
Add the names of :
MM. Argyropoulos (Greece).
Wade (United Kingdom).
