In draft resolution, paragraph 8, third sentence, delete the following words:

"between Baku and Khakendi/Stepanakert and a neutral international involvement in any peace implementation mechanism to be put in place"

Explanatory note

"Neutral international involvement" is not clear in the text. The peace deal that is currently under discussion between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and facilitated by the US, EU, Russia and other partners is separate from the reintegration agenda being pursued by the Government of Azerbaijan with local ethnic Armenians.
