"calls on the Israeli authorities to put an end to the policy of occupation and colonisation, to urgently and resolutely engage in preventing settler violence, and to refrain from building new settlements and extending old ones, and from carrying out home demolitions, forced evictions and confiscation of land in the occupied territories;"
The report must be more assertive on this structural aspect of the conflict between Israelis and Palestinians. The amendment is in line with international law.
