Many Ukrainian farmers and agricultural workers, who had taken loans before 2022 and were forced to leave their homes due to the occupation, now face a situation where their fields are either under occupation or destroyed by shelling. Despite these devastating circumstances, Ukrainian banks are not offering sufficient relief in the form of reduced or frozen loan payments."
