1.1 References to
committees
The Bureau considered and approved the following references:
Bureau decision: Democracy, rule of law and inclusive dialogue
in Türkiye: reference to the Committee on the Honouring
of Obligations and Commitments by Member States of the Council of
Europe (Monitoring Committee) to be taken
into account in the preparation of its report on “The
honouring of obligations and commitments by Türkiye”;
Bureau decision: Political
crisis in Serbia: reference to the Committee on the Honouring
of Obligations and Commitments by Member States of the Council of
Europe (Monitoring Committee) to be taken
into account in the preparation of its report on “The
honouring of obligations and commitments by Serbia”.
1.2 Modification
of a reference
Digital
transformation: the role of the OECD in evaluating the impact of
artificial intelligence (AI) on the future of work (former
title: The activities of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation
and Development (OECD)), Doc. 16055, motion for a resolution: reference to the Committee
on Political Affairs and Democracy for
report and to the Committee on Social Affairs, Health
and Sustainable Development for opinion.
1.3 Kyrgyzstan: early
parliamentary elections (30 November 2025)
The Bureau, subject to receiving an invitation and to the
availability of funds, decided to set up an ad
hoc committee to observe these elections composed of
11 members (SOC: 3; EPP/CD: 3; ECPA: 2; ALDE: 2; UEL: 1) and of
the Rapporteur of the Committee on Political Affairs and Democracy
on “Review of the partnership for democracy in respect of the Parliament
of the Kyrgyz Republic”.
1.4 Composition of
committees
1.4.1 Committee on
the Honouring of Obligations and Commitments by Member States of
the Council of Europe (Monitoring Committee)
On the basis of a proposal by the Socialists, Democrats and
Greens Group, the Bureau nominated Ms Olta Xhaçka (Albania) as a
member.
1.4.2 Committee on
Rules, Ethics and Immunities
On the basis of a proposal by the Socialists, Democrats and
Greens Group, the Bureau nominated Baroness Shami Chakrabarti (United
Kingdom) as a member.
The Assembly is invited to ratify
these Bureau decisions.
