In the draft resolution, paragraph 3, after the first sentence, insert the following sentence:
“In this context, the Assembly stresses that the Israeli authorities bear a major share of the responsibility for the heavy civilian death toll, highlights that acts deemed by numerous experts and international bodies as potentially constituting genocide are the subject of proceedings before the International Court of Justice (ICJ), notes that the Israeli Prime Minister is the subject of proceedings before the International Criminal Court for war crimes and crimes against humanity, and calls for Israel to immediately and unconditionally comply with the ICJ’s rulings and with all its obligations under international humanitarian law.”
