1. At its Sitting of 7th May, 1953, the Consultative Assembly, acting on the Report of the Credentials Committee, Doc. 124, examined the credentials of the Representatives and Substitutes whose names were appended to t h a t Report.
2. The Committee called the attention of the Assembly to the fact t h a t Iceland, which is entitled to three seats, had nominated only two Representatives. A telegram has been received this morning from the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Iceland, stating that M. Jônasson has been nominated as the third representative of Iceland.
3. No objection having been raised, the Committee proposes t h a t the Assembly should approve the credentials of M. Jônasson. - M. Jonasson's name should therefore be added to the list of Representatives. The number of vacant seats is thus reduced to seven.
