1.In accordance with Rule 6 of the Rules of Procedure, the Committee responsible for the examination of credentials examined those of the new Representatives and Substi-tures appointed to the Consultative Assembly of the Council of Europe as a result of general elections or resignations.
2. France, the Federal Republic of Germany and Norway have transmitted new credentials certified by their Ministers for Foreign Affairs.
3. (a) France, which had only 17 Representatives and 17 Substitutes during the first part-Session, has now brought its representation up to the statutory number of 18 Representatives and 18 Substitutes.
(b) The Federal Republic of Germany has appointed M. Reif as Substitute to replace M. Pfleiderer, who has resigned.
(c) As regards Norway, M. Finn Moe has been appointed Representative in place of M. Aabrek, who will himself replace Mme .Lionaes as Substitute, the latter having resigned.
4. Since the seat left vacant during the first part-Session will thus be filled, the number of Representatives during the second part-Session will be 132, in accordance with Article 26 of the Statute.
5. No objection having been raised, the Committee unanimously proposes that the Assembly confirm the validity of the appointment of the following Representatives and Substitutes :
