Considering
the wish expressed by the Consultative Assembly for the creation of a European Cultural Centre (September, 1949),
the fact that Unesco, having been acquainted with the Strasbourg Recommendation, stated that this did not fall within its competency,
and Chapter 117 (Cultural Aspects of European Union) of the Report of the Committee on General Affairs of the Council of Europe (15th June 1950),
The European Consultative Assembly recommends that Member States should give moral and material support to the European Cultural Centre in Geneva and the College of Europe at Bruges.
