The Assembly,

Having regard to the terms of Resolution 89 of the Assembly,

Being desirous that the political structure of Europe should rest on sound economic foundations,

Considering that O. E. E. C. has been engaged in a study of the international aspects and implications of nuclear development,

Considering that the Messina Conference has instituted similar studies within the area of the Powers concerned,

Instructs its Committee on Economic Questions:

• to consult with Q.E.E.C. through the established liaison machinery on its findings in the above matter;
• to study the findings of O.E.E.C.;
• to take into account the findings of the Messina Powers in their economic aspect;
• to invite representatives of the General Affairs Committee to be present at its meetings with O.E.E.C in connection with nuclear development.
