The Assembly,

Taking note of Document 329 on the creation of a European Information and Education Centre;

Noting that there exists a European Information Centre at Paris, supported by contributions from Governments;

Considering that the purpose of the proposal could be Fulfilled by close collaboration between the Secretariat-General of the Council of Europe and the European Information Centre,

Instructs the Secretary-General :

• to establish contact with the existing European Information Centre in Paris and arrange for effective measures of collaboration ;
• to inform the Assembly, in due course, of action taken to this end.
