The Assembly,
Recalling that the Committee of Ministers has undertaken to consult the Assembly on the plans now under consideration in the Council of Western European Union for closer association and possible unification of the European Assemblies,
Instructs the Political Committee, pending such consultation, to continue its work on the rationalisation of European institutions and to submit in due course such additional reports as may be considered desirable ; and
Invites the Bureau to make the necessary arrangements for a further meeting to take place at the appropriate time between a delegation from the three European Assemblies and the Council of Western European Union to review the progress made in the study of the question of rationalisation of European institutions and to enable the prevailing views of the European Assemblies to be put to the Council of Western European Union.
