The Assembly,
1. Having examined the report of its Committee on Social and Health Questions on the situation and responsibilities of parents in the modern family and their support by society (Doc. 3531),
2. Instructs this committee to undertake further studies concerning public policy and action with respect to equal rights of men and women in the sphere of family life and responsibility and employment opportunities, taking into account insights acquired and proposals made in the course of International Women's Year, and to report back to the Assembly in due course.
