2. Awaiting a reply to its proposal to set up a Study and Documentation
Centre on the causes, prevention and suppression of terrorism,
3. Instructs its Political Affairs and Legal Affairs Committees
to keep themselves informed of activities, initiatives and research
undertaken on the subject of terrorism along the lines proposed
by the Parliamentary Assembly at the Conference on the defence of
democracy against terrorism in Europe (Strasbourg, 12-14 November
1980) ;
4. Expresses the wish that, at the instigation of its Political
Affairs Committee, Legal Affairs Committee and Committee on Culture
and Education, national delegations should organise meetings in
member countries- open to participants in the conference of November
1980 as well as to other experts, governmental or otherwise- for
the purpose of studying problems raised by subversive violence ;
5. Requests its Political Affairs and Legal Affairs Committees
to keep on their agenda the problem of the defence of democracy
against terrorism in Europe.
