2. Instructs its Committee on Science and Technology to follow future developments in East-West scientific and technological relations by promoting the necessary contacts and consultations with scientific organisations and communities and with institutions whose purpose is to promote better East-West understanding through scientific and technological exchanges, in accordance with the spirit and decisions of the Helsinki Conference and the more recent conclusions of the Madrid CSCE meeting.
